The General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority (GRSIA) of Qatar is a pivotal government institution established to ensure the financial security and well-being of Qatari citizens through comprehensive pension and social insurance programs.
Founded under Law No. (24) of 2002 and re-established by Emiri Decree No. (38) of 2014, GRSIA operates as a legal entity with a direct budget under the Ministry of Finance. The authority is led by a president appointed via Emiri decree, overseeing both civil and military pension funds to provide retirees and their families with a dignified life
